Sacre-Davey Engineering conducted NDT, visual inspections, a pump performance assessment and an investigation of the equipment’s historical and operational information.
Zero Liquid Discharge
SDE was contracted to prepare a study and capital cost estimate for a water treatment system that would capture and recover the boiler water treatment system and blow down waste as boiler feed water to eliminate liquid discharge.
Univar MEG Expansion
For this rail unloading, storage and ship loading project, Sacré-Davey designed and commissioned an expansion for top unloading for glycol (MEG) from railcars which is then pumped to storage.
Zn Load & Unload Project
Sacré-Davey provided full detailed engineering for a truck and a rail loading facility to receive, stockpile and ship zinc concentrate at Kinder Morgan’s terminal in North Vancouver.
Potash Handling Study
Our client requested Sacré-Davey to complete a high-level capital cost estimate to upgrade their existing facility to allow for receiving, storage, and shipping of potash based on a previous conceptual design.
Canola/Glycol Transfer & Storage
Initial feasibility study and AACE Class 2 cost estimate for a new integrated railcar unloading, piping, storage system and marine loading for transfer of product from railcar to cargo vessel, as well as modification to rail car area for top unloading of glycol.
All Weather Loading Study
For this all weather scoping study, Sacré-Davey designed a system to allow loading of product during all weather conditions at the port.
Shiploader Upgrade
For this Ship Unloader upgrade project, Sacré-Davey had to replace the obsolete electrical drive control system of the Berth #1 Ship Unloader. This system upgrade also included the installation of a receiving hopper/spill plate, the addition of efficient dust mitigation measures for the hopper, and the replacement of other worn-out components of the ship unloader as required.
Phosrock Project
This faciililty improvement project required the installation of dry bulk ship unloading machinery, a network of inbound conveyors, a storage shed, and a network of outbound conveyors including a surge bin and a rail car load out system.
