Project Description

This project was for a large open pit Zn mine located in an extremely cold weather environment in the USA. Sacré-Davey Engineering was tasked with identifying suitable sorting techniques, carrying out the option evaluation and performing detailed engineering of the sorting plant.

The client conducted a preliminary investigation with several sorting techniques. Sacré-Davey Engineering was hired to provide direction to the client in identifying the most suitable sorting technology. SDE was then responsible for the design of a single-sorter pilot plant and a full-scale four-sorter facility.
