Design Review of Natural Gas Pipeline

Sacré-Davey provided design review, stress analysis and design input for a 1000 PSIG, 20” diameter pipeline servicing the new Kwoen Gas Plant in Northern BC. Sacré-Davey’s input saved considerable cost and effort during the design phase by developing a file transfer protocol for importing the Westcoast’s 3-D pipe model directly into Caesar for analysis. The timely analysis of different variation of the proposed pipe routing also saved considerable costs at road crossings and equipment tie-in locations.
