Sacré-Davey Experts-Conseils performed the site integration engineering for the first public hydrogen vehicle fueling station in the Province of Québec.

Sacre-Davey Innovations successfully delivered a mobile hydrogen fuelling station to Air Liquide Canada. The station stores over 100 kg of gaseous hydrogen at 450 bar (6500 psig) and is capable of filling vehicles to 350 bar (5000 psig) pressure.

SDE performed a feasibility study to integrate General Biodiesel’s equipment and processes into their existing plant, producing up to 10 million gallons/year of biodiesel.

SDE was responsible for scale-up, design, and process optimization of a supercritical HTL technology from pilot plant to commercial demonstration scale.

This project incorporated the technology development, scale-up, and design of laboratory, bench, pilot and commercial-scale equipment. The process includes conditioning of residues and separation of contaminants to produce clean feedstock sugar streams, catalytic hydrotreating of sugars to produce bio-glycols and polyols, and separation of pure products via crystallization and distillation.

TUGLIQ SARF Energy was exploring the possibility of building a biomethanisation plant at the ArcelorMittal Produits Longues Canada (“AMPLC”) site to generate renewable natural gas from residual material, manure from the surrounding cattle and hog farms, along with other organic waste.

Sacré-Davey was involved with the Development of a 17.5 million gallon/year biodiesel plant utilizing local used cooking oil, yellow grease, and beef tallow as feedstock. SDE was responsible for the complete process design, detailed design, construction management, commissioning, start-up and warranty for the plant.

Sacré-Davey Engineering Inc. (SDE) was commissioned by the City of Surrey as the “Design and Construction Representative” for the Organic Waste Biofuel Facility located in the Port Kells Industrial Park, Surrey, BC.

Our client wanted to install a facility to offload biodiesel, store it, then reclaim and blend it into traditional diesel in a blending range from B5 to B20. Sacré-Davey provided complete multi-disciplinary engineering for the detailed design of this project.

SDE used their experience with solid metal catalysts in renewable fuels to design a pretreatment process for a broader range of feedstocks (40% FFA max) to suit Benefuel’s high-temperature and high-pressure catalytic technology.

SDE developed a glycerol esterification technology from small pilot scale to a full-scale commercial process capable of converting 6 million gallons per year of fatty material to biodiesel feedstock.

Sacré-Davey Experts-Conseils performed the site integration engineering for the first public hydrogen vehicle fueling station in the Province of Québec. Harnois purchased the hydrogen equipment from Hydrogenics, including an electrolyzer, compressors, storage and dispenser.

This project includes the installation of an 88-megawatt electrolyzer plant for the production of green hydrogen and oxygen that will be supplied to Énerkem for its biofuel production facility. Sacré-Davey provides Hydro-Québec Owners Engineering Services for the integration as well as the balance of plant design.

SDE was involved in laboratory gas testing project for a confidential client in British Columbia. The scope of the project involved examination of the impact of hydrogen at different blend ratios on natural gas-fired residential appliances.

Sacré-Davey Engineering worked with the partnership of Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corporation (HTEC) and Shell Canada to complete the design of the very first hydrogen fueling station in Canada.

Acted as owner’s engineer during pre-FEED, FEED and detail design engineering regional Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant as well as designing all Balance-of-Plant and interconnecting systems.
