Project Description

Sacré-Davey was responsible for scale-up, design, and process optimization of a supercritical HTL technology from pilot plant to commercial demonstration scale. A complete process model was developed based on known reaction kinetics and pilot plant test data. Based on process modeling, the process was scaled up from pilot to commercial including all pretreatment unit operations, core technology and postproduction refining, and treatment. All engineering disciplines were provided by Sacré-Davey.
