Renewable Natural Gas
Project Description
TUGLIQ SARF Energy was exploring the possibility of building a biomethanisation plant at the ArcelorMittal Produits Longues Canada (“AMPLC”) site to generate renewable natural gas from residual material, manure from the surrounding cattle and hog farms, along with other organic waste. Because of our expertise in renewable natural gas (RNG), Sacré-Davey was tasked with determining the feasibility of integration of the biomethanisation plant. This feasibility study was focused on the specification, market research and evaluation of gas treatment technologies, and preliminary site integration of a renewable natural gas production system. Besides the evaluation of the biogas treatment technologies, the final report also discussed the applicable codes and standards, and the required permits and authorizations.
