Project Description

Sacré-Davey was involved in laboratory gas testing project for a confidential client in British Columbia. The scope of the project involved examination of the impact of hydrogen at different blend ratios on natural gas fired residential appliances.

Scope of Work

Sacré-Davey analyzed gas compositions, collected combustion and other related data, and prepared a comprehensive report to outline the effect of hydrogen addition to natural gas in relation to:

  • Lower and Higher Flammability Limits (LEL and UEL)

  • Auto-ignition temperature

  • Laminar flame speed

  • Specific gravity
