Potash Handling Study

Project Description

Pacific Coast Terminals (PCT) approached Sacré-Davey to undertake a high-level capital cost estimate for the upgrade of their current facility, enabling the reception, storage, and shipment of potash based on a previously conceptualized design.

Project Scope

Sacré-Davey, working on behalf of Pacific Coast Terminals (PCT), provided a capital cost estimate and developed preliminary architectural and structural drawing packages for a facility upgrade. Modifying the original design concept, Sacré-Davey implemented changes such as reconfiguring the unloading pit, adjusting dust collection systems, modifying conveyor motors, and expanding belt width and storage areas to offer an order of magnitude cost estimate for PCT.
