Canola Glycol Transfer & Storage

Project Overview

Sacré-Davey successfully executed a comprehensive project to enhance product transfer from railcar to cargo vessel, including a new integrated railcar unloading system and marine loading infrastructure. Modifications for glycol top unloading were made in the railcar area within an existing facility. The project, completed within budget, adhered to all regulatory requirements and production specifications.

Project Scope

Sacré-Davey's involvement covered a feasibility study, AACE Class 2 capital cost estimate, and detailed design, including process, site layout, piping, and structural aspects. The construction phase included project scheduling, procurement, management, and commissioning. A stage-gated approach, aligned with operations, ensured careful sequencing to mitigate risks and minimize the impact on existing operations.
