Project Description
Sacré-Davey embarked on an all-weather scoping study, aiming to devise a system that facilitates product loading regardless of weather conditions at the port. The project posed various challenges, including accommodating different vessel configurations and hatch designs at the berth, ensuring proper filling of hatches to the required level with accounted sequencing, making allowances for cleaning and maintenance, addressing berthing concerns, and incorporating structural design for the cover.
Project Scope
To address these multifaceted requirements, Sacré-Davey designed an innovative proprietary solution. This encompassed the development of conveyors, a tripper, a ship loader, and a cover, ensuring a comprehensive approach to overcome the challenges associated with loading products in diverse weather conditions at the port.
