Shiploader Upgrade

Project Description

For the Ship Unloader upgrade project, Sacré-Davey undertook the task of replacing the outdated electrical drive control system for the Berth #1 Ship Unloader. The upgrade initiative extended to installing a receiving hopper/spill plate, implementing effective dust mitigation measures for the hopper, and replacing other worn-out components of the ship unloader as necessary.

Project Scope

Sacré-Davey's project scope involved the design and implementation of an innovative proprietary solution, encompassing conveyors, tripper, shiploader, and a cover. The seamless replacement of the hopper was achieved without causing any delays for the barge or crane, showcasing the successful execution of the project objectives.
