Biodiesel Facility Design
Complete multidisciplinary design for a biodiesel production facility. The plant had to produce various grades of biodiesel from multiple feed- stock.
Integrated Renewable Power
Sacré-Davey participated in a feasibility study to evaluate integrating wind turbines and a parallel hydrogen energy storage and generation system in Northern Canada to offset diesel generators.
Building Expansion & New Production Line
Project involved the enlargement of an existing 77,000 sq. ft. operation- al commercial bakery by 11,000 sq. ft. through the creation of new GMP ‘white box’ production area and additional packaging space. This re- quired the up-grading of existing ingredient handling areas and ambient and forced cooling rooms, as well as adding a complete new production line. The existing mechanical and electrical fit-out was also enhanced to suit.
Mt. Milligan Project
Sacré-Davey performed the feasibility study and detailed engineering for the installation of a network of conveyors and transfer chutes to transport copper concentrate from their existing rail car unloading system to a storage shed.
No. 2 Paper Machine Fourdrinier Table Rebuild
This project includes the detailed design for the No. 2 paper machine fourdrinier table rebuild at Port Townsend Paper. Sacré-Davey staff reviewed the documentation provided by the technology provider, IBS, and integrated the system requirements within the mill. We provided a scope of work construction package that described and detailed the multidisciplinary work and specific requirements for contractor installation.
Sabina Gold & Silver: Feasibility Study & Detailed Design
Sacré-Davey Engineering assisted Sabina Gold & Silver with managing and compiling their updated feasibility study for their Goose Project, Sabina’s first planned mine in Sabina’s Back River Gold District. Sacré-Davey managed the compiling of data and information from contributing companies for each of the 28 sections. Alongside its management role, Sacré-Davey worked on and contributed to the following sections: Onsight infrastructure, Logistics, Capital cost estimates, operating cost estimates, and the financial analysis.
Molybdenum Flotation Cell Replacement
Sacré-Davey was required to complete a condition assessment of the structural steel supporting the existing Denver flotation cells. We also re-engineered the floor system incorporating some of the existing structural steel to support new Outokumpu Tank Cells
EPCM of Ore Sorting Plant
The acid-generating stockpiles and the distance between the mine and the mill was not only expensive, but also very difficult to manage at the Bonanza Ledge Gold Mine. An opportunity was identified to sort the sulfides carrying gold, and only ship the high-quality material at a very low cost. Sacré-Davey Engineering was responsible for the detailed engineering, procurement support, and construction management of an XRT sorter at the Bonanza Ledge Gold mine.
