Integrated Renewable Power

Project Description

Sacré-Davey participated in a feasibility study to evaluate integrating wind turbines and a parallel hydrogen energy storage and generation system in Northern Canada to offset diesel generators.

Scope of Work

Sacré-Davey created an energy model to determine the energy balance, production rates and hydrogen storage on the basis of wind and grid demand data from site on 10-minute intervals. An economic model was produced to estimate the CAPEX and OPEX of the energy system.

The energy model and economic model were used in concert to determine the sensitivity of the system to Hydrogen equipment parameter changes.
