Project Description
TUGLIQ SARF Energy explored constructing a biomethanisation plant at the ArcelorMittal Produits Longues Canada (“AMPLC”) site. The aim was to produce renewable natural gas from residual material, manure from nearby farms, and other organic waste. Sacré-Davey, known for its expertise in renewable natural gas (RNG), was tasked with assessing the feasibility of integrating the biomethanisation plant.
Project Scope
Sacré-Davey's role involved a thorough feasibility study, focusing on specification, market research, and gas treatment technology evaluation for the integration of a renewable natural gas production system. The scope extended to preliminary site integration analysis. The final report covered biogas treatment technologies, discussed applicable codes and standards, and outlined the necessary permits and authorizations for the renewable natural gas project.
