Project Description
Sacré-Davey undertook a laboratory gas testing project for an undisclosed client in British Columbia. The project's scope encompassed the assessment of the effects of hydrogen at various blend ratios on residential appliances powered by natural gas.
Project Scope
In a detailed analytical endeavor, Sacré-Davey conducted an assessment of gas compositions, systematically gathered combustion data, and collected relevant information. The findings were meticulously compiled into a comprehensive report. The study focused on elucidating the impact of hydrogen addition to natural gas concerning critical factors such as Lower and Higher Flammability Limits (LEL and UEL), Auto-ignition temperature, Laminar flame speed, and Specific gravity. The resulting report provided valuable insights into the interplay of these variables, contributing to a deeper understanding of the implications of hydrogen incorporation in natural gas scenarios.
