Project Description

The project involved optimizing steam resources at a pulp and paper mill through the installation of a 65 MW condensing steam turbine/generator set. Sacré-Davey Engineering played a key role, converting turbine drives to electric, optimizing boilers, and integrating new equipment. This strategic move enhanced efficiency and aligned with revenue goals.

Project Scope

In collaboration with Binnington Development Corporation, Sacré-Davey provided engineering services on an EPCM basis for the turbine/generator set installation. The scope covered equipment procurement, detailed engineering, and ongoing project management. The collaborative effort aimed at achieving optimal efficiency and seamless integration of new equipment.
