SDG’s Process Engineers develop flow charts and mass balances. They develop complex P&ID’s for a range of clients in different industries and work with clients to find the most economical approach to achieve their goals.  Our Process Engineers remain experts in their traditional work, while moving to the forefront of new technologies and processes such as gas collection at low to atmospheric pressures, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and metallic membrane purification technologies.

Our Mechanical Engineers expand on the work of the Process Engineer to achieve the desired results. They turn the P&ID’s into working, real world concepts by generating the GA’s, equipment and piping lay-outs, plans and elevations required to purchase and/or manufacture and install the needed equipment. Our engineers also perform pipe stress analysis and modify the piping layout to bring these stresses within acceptable limits.  SDG also has the expertise required in pipeline modeling to determine stresses in buried pipes.
